The Simplist : Regenerating Land, Restoring Balance
At The Simplist, our connection to nature drives every decision we make. The native plants we cultivate are chosen for their ability to thrive in the Murray Mallee’s challenging semi-arid environment. These remarkable species play an essential role in reducing water evaporation, stabilising soils, and rejuvenating landscapes that have suffered from overgrazing and degradation—making them ideal for supporting ecological resilience in a warming climate.
We are undertaking a long-term restoration initiative to revegetate 100 acres of land previously used for farming. This includes the replanting of 30 acres with native species to form wildlife corridors and strengthen local biodiversity. Our restoration efforts will include native grasses and the planting of approximately 18,000 trees and shrubs, with a strong emphasis on threatened species that need urgent protection. Through this project, we aim to return ecological function to the land while supporting the wellbeing of surrounding ecosystems and communities.
The Simplist Farm: A Safe Haven for Nature
Our farm is home to many captivating native birds. In a landscape where conventional farming has diminished natural habitats, these safe havens provide essential refuge for native species—many of which are sadly endangered. Each bird carries its own unique story, and together they play a vital role in pollinating our native plants and maintaining the balance of our ecosystem.
At The Simplist, all our products are crafted from Australian plants using natural, organic, and sustainably sourced ingredients. Every step of our production process is carefully designed to minimise environmental impact. We believe that living simply fosters balance and well-being.
We prioritise ethical sourcing, use recyclable glass packaging, and ship our products in fully compostable materials. Free from synthetic ingredients, our products protect and preserve the ecosystems we cherish. Our business model and practices aim to deliver a net positive impact on health, soil vitality, and water quality.
