The Story of The Simplist

The Simplist began with a moment so small it could have been missed - a chance encounter with a naturally caffeine-free tea made from an Australian native plant. But from the first sip, there was a feeling that was instinctive and unmistakable, that this plant carried something rare. Something quietly powerful.

That moment led to extensive scientific literature review, where evidence revealed the remarkable properties held within this single plant. And from there, further reading revealed a world shaped by centuries of plant knowledge across cultures, where nature has long been understood as profoundly intelligent. Each plant, a complex system. Each one, offering something purposeful.

What grew alongside this discovery was an understanding that what we bring into our lives matters. That what we place on our skin, breathe into our bodies, and consume daily, shapes our health in ways both seen and unseen. And that when something is made with care, is truly sourced, and thoughtfully created, it holds the power to transform the everyday into something far more meaningful.

The Simplist was created with a focus on purity, quality, and integrity in every detail. Each element of what we create is thoughtfully considered, with nothing without purpose. It reflects what is valued and what is chosen. In that choice, something simple becomes something meaningful.

Regenerating Land, Restoring Balance

Our deep connection to nature guides every decision we make. On our Murray Mallee farm, we cultivate native plants uniquely adapted to thrive in the challenging semi-arid landscape. These resilient species help reduce water evaporation, stabilise fragile soils, and revive ecosystems scarred by overgrazing and degradation—restoring balance to the land while supporting ecological resilience in a changing climate.

A Safe Haven for Nature

Our farm provides refuge for many enchanting native birds in a landscape where conventional farming has diminished natural habitats. These safe havens are vital for endangered species, each carrying its own unique story and role. With access to food, shelter, and nesting sites, birds help pollinate native plants and sustain the delicate balance of our ecosystem.

As part of our long-term restoration initiative, we are revegetating 100 acres of land, once cleared, for farming. This includes replanting 30 acres with native species to create wildlife corridors and strengthen local biodiversity. Through this work, we aim to nurture the wellbeing of surrounding ecosystems.

The following photos show the farm progress with the running tally of plantings.
